Onasaki: hmm, not sure if Anakin is the best moral model.
re Yexis: aww, bit rough on Joan aren't we?
re dragonmaiden50: happy you found the fire awesome ^_^
re Cup0fDOOM: well, killing a child is a bit of a big deal.
re Satu-aka: glad you enjoyed the fire ^_^
re devoradort: well, he did have a bit of a choice about killing the child or not.
re ScreechTheMighty: nope, just what happens when Drake uses magic. the seal reacts and creates magical backlash in proportion to the amount of magic that he's using.
re StellaFrost: thanks ^_^
re Skittsue: yup, he hasn't given her much of a choice.
re Zoula: I'm glad that Joan has an advocate. I guess its nice that people are liking Drake so much, but they're being quicker to judge joan than I had anticipated.
re Miya: ^_^
re Azhtann:yup, it reacts that way whenever he uses magic.
re Barnes: ^_^
re rhes: thank you so much, your comment really made my day. I'm glad that you get a kick out of the subtle things especially, it's good to know that they're not going unnoticed. If you're looking for other dragon series I would recommend the the books by Naomi Novic. They're a really fresh take on the dragon rider genre set in the Napoleonic era and written by a history buff. It's got great characters and is incredibly well though out.
