Sorry about the text heavy page, I didn't want to drag this out over two pages.
re dragonmaiden50: *first post dance*
re Miya: sadly it seems that there is a sudden shortage of dragons. and yes, the rest of the cast gets to reappear finaly
re Jinny: yup, cremation is a suitable way to bury a dragon and it was the best he could do with such little time.
re Bearagirl119: aww, thanks, and sorry I made you cry
re NaginiFay: ^_^
re Skarlog: ^_^ one last instance of name confusion before she passes out of the story.
re Barnes 4321: true, lances through the gut seem to impair most things, except apparently singing opera
re StellaFrost: I hope Drake's quick conclusion covered the other dragons enough.
re Onasaki: indeed, although sadly for Drake ketchup had not yet been discovered (tomatoes are from the Americas)he had to eat his meddlers plain, or perhaps with mustard
re Skittsue: XD Drake would be so much bigger than the other HTTYD dragons (well, except for the big one)
re Satu-aka: that's something that I thought about for a while, and decided that they should be able to transform with their clothes, if for no other reason than it would be a serious hassle to deal with the "oh no, I must find clothing" thing everytime they changed shape. It's a less natural form of shapeshifting for them and it take a while to learn but they're willing to invest the effort because one big advantage of a human form is that it blends in, and that doesn't work so well when you're running around naked.
re Cup0fDOOM: well, outside of the genocide aspect not exactly. Hitler attacked members of the population who were easy targets but weren't hurting anyone and usually saw themselves as Germans. Dragons on the other hand were a real danger. As evensky pointed out Brittany was chatting with Lucian about how she and Durham had just attacked a trade caravan basically for fun.
re devorador: thanks ^_^
re AyoWolf: me too, dragons all the way, but that might be because I don't have to deal with them eating my livestock or burning down my house.
re sandraman: I looked up the books and kind of got that impression, or at least thought that they were geared for a young audience and wouldn't be fun for older readers like some children's books (or the movie for that matter) can pull off.
re evensky: i totally agree with you. drake's version is quite biased given that he's a dragon, but they were never intended to be blameless (it also made me really happy that you cited a page in the comic ^_^). Your English is also quite good, you sound like a native speaker (out of curiosity, what's your native language?)
re Azhtann:^_^ it's the only way to get out of those little windows. Just gotta make sure you're high enough to change before hitting the ground
T^T poor Drake~ He can be a real ass and a brat but to be the 'Last Dragon'? That's just harsh. Joan is probably feeling like shit even more than before now too since she was the one to originally bring up this whole flash-back-of-intense-Drake-torment. *hugstheDrake*
Great page as always and I can understand you not wanting to drag it out to more than one page. Don't mind it being text heavy. It's fitting that way somehow.
dawwwwwww, poor drake, its ok dude, now that you;ve hit rock bottom, it can only get better from here...oh wait, it doesn't, well... there's still the end of this current story to go, so don't lose hope! =D
This is true, but it still does not make George any less than a giant butt hole.( in my point of view.) But George showed his cowardly side through attacking the dragons while in their meeting rooms where they cannot transform or cast magic of any kind. It is indeed a tactful endeavor but it is nothing to be praised.
Welp. Either Joan will throw Drake a gigantic pity party or she'll throw a fit 'cuz he killed George's family.
Also, I have the feeling that Teddy is still in his sideways-coffin-closet, listening to the story. XD
yeah i can see how that would be a problem. the "oh noes, i need clothes" thing works better when doing a romance since it leads to hilarious moment haha
i actually like the heavy text page, it helps the comic move along faster and it gives that story-like feel to it, since story telling is such a big deal. Though i am very happy to be getting back to the main story and seeing how Joan reacts to everything she just heard.
