and the chapter starts. Good eyes Darklightartist for spotting the person in the shoadows on the previous page by the way.
Drake's bad at filling people in on what's going on unless they ask, one of the side effects of traveling alone for so long.
I like how this page came out. I've switched over to using GIMP since my trial version of photoshop expired. i'm still figuring out the new system, but it seems to work quite well, especialy considering that it's free.
There's a new vote incentive up for top web comics. it's a critter I drew for Jenshin's sorta kinda contest/request for monster thingies for Two Moons (http://www.drunkduck.com/TwoMoons/). I don't get to draw enough of these for Hurrocks.
re VampireKizu: right now, the last thing Teddy wants is adventure, he just sort or wants to find some place he can hide and everything will start making sense again.
re doom Bubbles: both the eyes and the critter where done on a whim
re Lucida: I use gimp more to tint my pics than color them. I work with high transparancy and color right over most of my line. With high transparancy and dark colors you don't have to worrk about washing out lines, anthough the colors come out dimm, so it works best for dark settings. Luckily, teddy assures that most scenes are going to be during the night for a while.
re Butterscotch: It was blueberry pie, so he cant eat it. it probably just made him more depressed.
re UglyKitten: you could sort of see Teddy as just having woken up. Coming back to life probably makes you even more groggy than just waking up even.
re Zed Di Dragon: GIMP does pretty much the same thing as photoshop, it just takes a while to find the tools. I spent so long trying to find the line tool>_<
Sidheprincezzz: I don't have the book with me at the moment, but i think vamps' eyes glow in Dracula, and that's the model I'm mostly following, other than that, I just felt like doing it. Teddy's hunched over now, so his face is more in shadow than on previous pages, so the glow shows up more.
re Lucida: right you are Lucida. In Dracula, Dracula's able to come out during the day, he just has to stay in one form during it. It wasn't untill the hollywood movie Nosferatu that the who burning up syndrome appeared. Unfortunatly, it's now common beleif that vamp's burn in the sun, and since beleif determines the abilities of solifidians, sunlight is deadly, at least to the weaker vamps like Teddy. The stronger ones are able to go out in the day. Good job on the research ^^
re Theflowerchild: ^^ glad to hear you're happy Red, how're things at good ol' Athenian?
