The first for the crazy late update, end of the year, lots of work, all of that crazy stuff. Especially bad since in theory this would have been a cliff hanger. Luckily or unlickily you guys pretty much figured out where the conversation is going, and that's the seccond thing I appologise for. I know that its terribly cliche. It's from ages ago, but it's been part of Drake's character and the plot for so long that yanking it would make the whole thing collapse, so instead of pulling it I'm going to try and do the cliche well with (hopefully) a different approach to it. please bear with me guys.
amiko_16: she could try again witht he other shoe, but the moment's gone now.
re comic king: well, he's still a serious character, but a bit...just stock emo-vampire character template.
re LuluMoon: thanks ^_^
re Butterscotch: hurah ^_^
re Tovi_ivoT: good thing since that's how he usualy is ^_^
re Onasaki: like a lighter, but even more convenient.
re TheDemonDragonCat: they just can't stand him being such a jerk XP
re LToEV: indeed ^_^
re Imola: I wanted to move on from the bickering, but give joan one last retort, hence the shoe.
re doom Bubbles: he's got a bit of that persona
re axielouise: Dr Who fat baby avatar!
re BellaMai: the ears are too much fun, it's like a whole 'nother extra feature for showing expressions.
re Corbeau: thanks ^_^
re Zheyna: egads, I hope that you avoided the gory bits. Glad it helped though ;P
re Willie the Worm: thanks ^_^
re Hippiepanda: aww, he sounds like a sweetheart. I always wondered what sort of personalities dogs that are part wolf had. I've had two bogs, and both of them have been Labradors, which tend to be friendly. Our old one was apparently realy teritorial too, but she dies when I was young, so I don't remember her that well. Sky isn't in the least, she can't even scare off cats (one tried to follow me home and we had to frighten it off because my dad and my brother are heinously allergic...it didn't work, the cat went right up to her).
Oh yeah, Modi's a real character, wonderful dog. I think once I have a house that I own, and you know things that need protecting, like secret hoards of gold, or children I'll get another wolf hybrid... either that or a leonburger, those things are frickin' huge, I could ride one of those.
xDD I don't agree with the taking-out-your-misery-on-others thing, Lulu, but I'm impressed with how Drake didn't go all oh-I-cut-myself-alone-in-the-darkness-emo when his family died. His strength of mind is a joy. xP
I can't wait to see ANYONE in this comic that actually likes Drake's personality. xDD
yeah, I clicked a couple times too >.> Just read the whole comic, I love it! Your chars are awesome, and the art **dies** its beautiful,I had to stop myself from commenting on every page:D I can't wait for more updates!
Well, to be honest I don't think it's cliché. Maybe the idea of 'the whole family died and blahblahblah', but I think it's more of a cliché how most characters tell other people that. (You know like, 'they...died...' in a very depressing and dark way)But how Drake says it is really original and really fits the character^^
