Kyle was never ment to be a main character, but when drawing him for the first few scenes I got rather attached to the good-natured idiot, so I promised myself that I'd check in with him from time to time to see what he's up to. bits of his mis-adventures will turn up in this limbo space between chapters.
The two new guys in the background are Kyle's dad, the blacksmith, and Amy's dad, the inn-keeper. neither are important, but Kyle and Amy do have very important fathers in village life, especialy Kyle. They're probably the closest families in the village to being upper class, and their friendship with Joan went a long way towards keeping her safe.
Because these aren't real comic pages they give me a chance to experiment. This time around I decided to mess with colored pencils, despite all the evidence that they do not look good scaned...I will not be doing this again.
i liked kyle his like me most of the time good natrued and ready to do what it takes for his friends, then he goes the wrong diriction in doing so. yeah thats describes me to. *sigh* good natrure idiots gotta love us.
I can not believe I haven't found this piece of delicious treasure before. If I were to describe this comic with one word, it would have to be "awesome". Fortunately, though, I can use as many words as I like to describe the comic. I must say "really awesome".
Consider yourself fav'ed. Does this comic have an update schedule, though? I noticed a big, freaking, leap between the end of chapter one and this page.
Butterscotch: yes, silly boy, but we love him still.
re sarafan: ^^
re galaxylion: aye, its the thought that counts.
re AlmightyNam: true, although eventualy he'd run into solifidian-controlled lands
re Zed Di Dragon: thanks. I try to update every three days, although sometimes life interfears. I'm not quite sure what you mean by a big leap between the end of chapter 1 and this page. did a glitch skip you over chapter two?
I didn't mean as much "leap" as "big, freaking delay", but I just found out that I pressed the "Latest comic" instead of "Next comic" when I was finished with chapter 1. I was too tired to notice that yesterday. Hey, I'm not complaining about even more of these sweet, sweet archives to read.
*I'm updating a comment, what's wrong with me?*
Allrighty, now I've really read trough the entire archives. I demand you make more! You know, if you feel like it.
