ok, sorry about how late this comic is. for now I will blame in on the crew's hangovers. I'm thinking about re-organising my updating to fit school and work better, I've also gotten Cerise to add sound effects (many thanks to her and her fonts), so communicating and such adds extra time to making the comics. I will still update three times a week, I'm just not sure on what days yet.
anyway, ouch. Yeah poor guy. Stirrups revolutionized warfare and made the mounted knight possible, but it added the danger of getting your foot caught and making a fall even nastier.
so, looks like Drake is doing well, huh? too bad he over-looked one minor problem...
re dirtsa: The white spots are light shining though the holes in the helmet. I wanted a shot of the knight's face since it's easy to stop caring about him when he's just a suit of armor, but I didn't want is to seem as is his helmet magicaly dissapeared, so I added the shadow of the helmet.
the sketchyness is probaly from messy speed lines, I'm still getting the hang of them. I'm actualy checking out the comics that aquilo suggested earlier for refreances to fix this. You'll see Drake's mistake on the next page.
"so, looks like Drake is doing well, huh? too bad he over-looked one minor problem..." Oh, let me guess! The knight's still stuck on the stirrup and, as he falls, his weight causes the saddle to turn sideways dumping Drake on the ground too! ~clicks 'next'~
