Well, I'm back from the dead on a rather appropriate day. My classes are over and now I'm just working on finals and my dissertation so my schedule is more flexible and I can probably start updating more regularly again.

Lots of people getting shot, including poor Teddy.

replies:

re Mina_Lunga: Yeah, I mean Joan is helpful for his quest and all, but by this point she's grown on him enough that he's probably be looking out for her anyway.

re Kadtie: Drake loves going slightly berserk. It lets him ignore the angst and the seal for a while.

Eva Emaria: I would love to say that there are all these badass lady knights running around the order, but given the order's rather conservative nature its not exactly in character. There are very few female members, and none in the highly dangerous border patrols.

re man in black: thanks ^_^

re somebody: heh, so much for drawing quickly.

re Arrikanez: That probably would have been her last ditch effort, luckily is didn't come to that.

re OtakuNeko2499: Everyone has racked up a bit of a body count by this point. Drake is unlikely to be phased given that this is pretty much par the course. Teddy's likely to be less conflicted since he has reason to hate these guys. Joan is the most likely to freak, but she hasn't managed a kill yet.

Oh well, one could hope. XD Eventually people will figure out that a woman is more dangerous because she is more likely to get all protective and thus be more willing to kill, but eh. Today is not that day.

And oh no, poor Teddy! I hope arrows to the heart don't work like stakes to the heart, because that would be BAD. Also, slightly surprised (and happy) to see the Order using traditional bows instead of crossbows. Far too many people jump into the crossbow bandwagon without considering how long it takes to both load a bolt and draw the string, and that because aiming them is easier, most people who use them aren't capable of making the really tricky shots.
