Joan means well, but realy didn't get what Drake was trying to explain.

what do folks think of Teddy's little outburst?

oh, and I addwd a "why vamps can't cross rivers" in the forum since folks seem interested in chatting about that.

updates should be a tad bit more regular from now on. last week was hellish and I spent my free time in a basement making signs for a carnival the camp was having.

re Croon: It's his most effective defence method: "don't be mean to me, I'm sad"

re TheDemonDragonCat: sort of. He's coping with them bit by bit, but obviously doesn't want to talk about them now.

re teurastaa: or they could build a catapult.

re Doodlebot: I think That the current creates a barrier, so a bridge wouldn't help.

re Neko with a Katana: ooh, look bitterness mixed with angst.

re Captain Shinji: yeah, Beau Beau would stamp on it.

re tricorn5: yeh. Teddy's had to deal with a lot of crap from people like that over the years, but he's always too timid and in control to strike back until now. and he did atempt to cross the river and atleast attempted to wash out to blood a bit.

re amiko_16: I like all the little vampire OCDness.

re bloomygirl315: apparently the vdeo didn't come out well, which is a bummer.

re silversoul: mmm, Drake's not so flamboyant a dresser, and Teddy will be using just one of his spare shirts.

re Angelzora: I've got about four weeks left, but I should be updating a tad bit more regularly.

re yaoi_gamer: ...someimes.

re 2SkyDragon: I think he might just sit on them.

re kasi: well, that other side of him didn't stick around long.

re Kattanie: I think purity symbolism is the cause.

re Mythee: sad faces work so well for that.

re Vine_Gar: he doesn't last long that way.

re Nyliak: well, he's going to be traveling around a bit. we had two changes on AWE I think (plus I think Sinduri packed for him, Drake doesn't have that much forsight)

re axielouise: indeed, didn't last long though.

re Zheyna: there will be some romance and fluff, but it's not focus of it. Mostly it's there for character development.

re stevebarns: running water washes things, so it's a cleansing influence,so people beleive it can stop dark creatures. Because people beleive it, Bahamoot makes it so.

re Nosa: oop, but lookie, more uncaring sarcasim.

re Mr.Blackbird: If you can get a good hit in and follow up you've got them, it's just getting in the first hit that's the problem.

re Imola: weak newbies like Teddy have daylight issues, older and stronger ones just can't use all of their powers. They're still strong, but can't shapeshift.

Oh my, Teddy isn't adorable when he's grumpy. I think he needs a cookie.. a blood cookie!!

Butterscotch, July 16th, 2007, 8:20 pm

The speech bubble almost seems to be coming from Beau-Beau

Angelzora, July 16th, 2007, 8:28 pm

Awkward silence time!

*pats Teddy's head* There, there, no need to chuck a sickie. ^_^

kasi, July 16th, 2007, 8:30 pm

obviously... but isn't that why we all love Drake?

Wow, I thought of Teddy as a pretty mellow person, but, sheesh! Bite Joan's head off why don't ya? Oh, wait... I meant to say drain her blood... or did I? The outburst was a shock nonetheless.

Zheyna, July 16th, 2007, 9:06 pm

Wow, is Teddy that tall?

He looks manga-cuteful in the second panel. But quite, quite bitter. I like.

*Edit* Wait, when you said up there "Teddy's had to deal with a lot of crap like this," do you mean that he's used to angry mobs trying to kill him?

Well, actually, I guess he WOULD be used to angry mobs trying to kill him.

Okay, NOW I get the whole "Teddy has always had the sadistic killer buried deep within him" thing. If I was used to getting attacked by angry prejudicial mobs, I'd probably dwell on causing their painful demises too. And it makes sense that when his Bahamoot side takes over, these fantasies of violently taking control come out too...

Was that way too much psychoanalysis of your character? I'll be really embarrassed now if I end up being wrong.

teurastaa, July 16th, 2007, 9:24 pm

now we have two PMS guys lol poor joan.

2SkyDragon, July 16th, 2007, 10:18 pm

Haha... And the blood stains wouldn't show... He has red scales... Muahahahaha!

bloomygirl315, July 16th, 2007, 10:43 pm

men usually express their sorrows through anger (or at least thats what I've heard/observed). I think Teddy's sad =( *huggles teddy*

paw_07, July 16th, 2007, 11:07 pm

aww ... Teddy's so cute when he's pissy. ^_^

doom Bubbles, July 17th, 2007, 4:15 am

atleast she got off with all joints and limbs still intact.

Neko with a Katana, July 17th, 2007, 9:49 am

Yes, bitterness AND angst are always a fun combination. Jeeze, Teddy, bite off the HUMAN'S head why don't you?

tricorn5, July 17th, 2007, 11:11 am

Poor Teddy! I'd pat him on the back, but I'm afraid he'd think I was patronizing him. I don't like being patronized, either. But those people normally end up with a bit of a new outlook on life after I rant at them.

godhand1514, July 17th, 2007, 3:33 pm

Woah, flipping out on the person that is usually sympathetic is not a good thing. DX

PJupiter, July 18th, 2007, 8:50 pm

BatsAreFlyingRats, July 19th, 2007, 2:20 pm

Poor Teddy, what he really needs is a hug.

Vine_Gar, July 19th, 2007, 6:24 pm

xx_dark_desires_xx, July 23rd, 2007, 3:16 pm

Ke ke ke! JOan really doesn't get it. You kind of feel sorry for her...well almost. Keep up the great work.

Assuni, July 23rd, 2007, 8:33 pm

Wow, I haven't been here in a long time...
Uh, this has probably already been asked before, but how exactly does running water hurt vampires? Does it burn them or something?
