feel kinda meh about this page, possible due to the lack of our main trio in in (aside from the dim silhouette in the first panel). I did use it to play around with lighting a bit.
The Order isn't very impressive so far, but fear/relax not, that will change shortly.
re Imola: The Order is making a rather pitiful showing for now, but they will be getting their act together shortly.
re Kadtie: wrist injuries always give me the willies, but Drake tends to aim for necks on crippling wrist or leg strikes. Shall we call the arrowed fellow Donny?
re man in black: thanks ^_^
re Eva Emaria: The Order relies heavily on formations and teamwork do deal with opponents that are generally faster and stronger than them (think of the fight with Teddy in the alleyway). Once they are able to identify where they are being attacked from and organize themselves they are going to be a much greater threat.
re Arrikanez: Sorry Aylis, if its any consolation they would try to kill him too. Being a tad bit too cocky has been more or less Drake's permanent state of being.
re Mina_Lunga:Drake's tendency to go for neck blows is a hold over from his true dragon form. Given their longer necks, crushing bites to the throat or spine are often the best approach. The Order's fields units are a kinda slap-dash affair. They all tend towards light, scout-like armor because they're in it for long periods of time and in general they rely more on speed and being able to work as a team. Not having a clear target has prevented them from using any formations, hence the relative ease of the fight so far. That's going to end very soon. Warmer garments like cloaks were ditched with the extra horses and hounds. The lack of helmets is partially for better visibility and partially because I had a hard time designing ones that didn't look very silly and so opted for the helmet less Hollywood approach. There goes another sleeveless fellow. I think the mother of sixteen might now be a mother of fourteen.
re OtakuNeko2499: today's comic is probably more of a daily dose of fail than win.
re doom Bubbles: and you rock for staying with me the whole time. I don't think the comic would have lasted nearly this long without the comments from you guys, especially folks like you who have been around for so long.
