hi, not dead. Hope to have some faster updates for the new year.
The prolonged possession is a lot more damaging than the first one, so Joan is going to be out of it for a while. Drake decided to bring the crossbow along just in case anyone else felt like being a hero while he's trying to get out of the city.
And yeah, Lucifer is in the fire god word bubble. Fire's certainly his element and he fits the Fire God's current proud/dickish mood. I also stuck Surtr in there because well, Apocalyptic Norse gods also fit angry fire guy's current mood.
re pfmoi: thanks ^_^
re ladygoddessmonika: oh yeah, Joan's powers are going to be more and more important (which is good because she's totally overpowered by the guys)
re Stardreamer: well, since you've got Trickster on your side you might get away with calling him Sparky. Trickster's folks can usually run circles around the proud and powerful. Just be careful not to get caught, that's always messy (Loki's a popular trickster so he's influential in the archetype and things often end quite badly for him. like mouth sewn shut or acid in the eyes bad).
re Azhtann: usually with magic things involve both power and precision. Unfortunately, while Fire has plenty of power, he doesn't have the kind of precision needed to break the seal.
re Kadtie: yup, there are other ways for the gods to communicate with solifidians aside from possession.
re mogget: Its a lot of fun using them like that, I wish humans had more expressive ears.
re Jae87: indeed, in his defense it is a terrifying fire god.
re dirtsa: I was kinda playing with the idea of lava starting to replace the blood just like the fire takes over the tips of her hair. Both eyes bleed about the same amount.
re Sivlare: What Fire just did is resulting in fainting, dehydration, and nasty headaches. Channeling more power or longer possessions can result in internal damage from hemorrhaging, blindness, coma, and yeah, death.
