Ugh... Drake... Why'd you have to go and do that with the Fire God watching? He's gonna metaphorically beat your ass for that... Or literally beat your ass for that. Either way, you're about to get owned.
And, Ehh... I dunno about Drake letting him go. I just feel like our little 'knightling' is gonna come back for revenge or something. I hope not. It might also be just as bad to have him come back trying to help Drake & co. It just seems as though it would have been best if he had died, though I'm sure the Fire God's gonna ensure the hospital burns with both brothers in it (You know... as part of the owning Drake thing).
Also, in response to your response: "re Jae87: wouldn't that be a fun twist!"
*Cue Trollvoice* That must be why he let him go, hmmmm??? :3
I think the ending is totally in character for a more mature and worldly Drake. He WOULD put himself into the situation, and he wouldn't really want someone else to go through it the way he did. Even though I do have the feeling things are going to come back and bite him in the rump. But, hey, he's a dragon, he's prolly got a scaly hard-to-bite rump.
