and the telepathic conversation continues. Drake lays out his plan and moves to address the fact that Teddy is still rather upset with him.

BTW, I've sort of abandoned that prologue I was doing. I want to try resurrecting it, but as a bit of a collaboration to make it feasible with my time limitations. I know that a lot of you guys are interested in or do your own comics and I want to open it up to you to practice different things you want to experiment with. For example if you want to just practice coloring I can do everything else, or if you want to work on page layouts I'll just give you a basic description of what's going on. Right now its an action scene with lots of motion and a chance to practice drawing dragons too. If that's something you want to try your hand at let me know.

Imola: yup, he's pretty introspective so they psychic powers are more up his alley, which is good because he seems to not have a whole lot of luck fighting.

re pfmoi: glad they work ^_^

re Skittsue:thanks ^_^

re Kadtie: thanks, sometimes I wish I had time to go back and redo the first pages, but I know I couldn't keep up any forward momentum if I did.

re Jae87: I think I'm going to try something slightly trippier next page.

re StellaFrost: well, imminent death isn't something you get distracted by easily.

re yuri21: nope, unless she starts challenging darker forces her powers aren't in the same "genre" as the ones that are usually blocked by salt.I totally missed an opportunity to do a special update for year of the dragon, didn't I?

re Azhtann:it took me a while to figure out how to bend the arm, but I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

re XxWhiterosesxX: I love fan art! When its done I can post it and link to your comics too ^_^

Is it wrong to be excited?

Onasaki, February 3rd, 2012, 7:40 pm

Of course not, IamOne! Wonton destruction and chaos is always exciting!

Butterscotch, February 3rd, 2012, 8:46 pm

I don't think Joan will like that plan
(Gosh it's been a long time since I last commented on this o.o)

Azhtann, February 4th, 2012, 5:09 am

All I can think is: I am Dragon, hear me roar!

But what if they decide to burn one of the others first? What then, Drake? How's THAT fit in your plan?

Kadtie, February 4th, 2012, 1:34 pm

Things almost never go as planned. What makes him think everything will go perfectly this time? I fear for their lives.

I love how Drake is still holding Joan through this telepathic conversation. I wonder if it makes him feel uncomfortable, or indifferent, or if he enjoys it...?

thank you so much for continuing your updates, its a true pleasure to read your story. i like whats going on and i cant wait to see drake in his element.

I guess that means he' s somewhat similar to Mina... or perhaps could become a really good disciple of hers.

Where should we apply for some prologue comic pages? :) I' m interested in doing lineart. As for colouring, I can only offer watercolours (as it can be seen on DeviantArt).

Does it matter? CNY is mostly commercialised these days and celebrating each year is just an excuse to splurge. :P But that's me being cycnical: there's the "historical details" behind all those names and stuff.

Erm, challenge darker powers? Sorry, mind explaining?

neonmalice, February 6th, 2012, 9:32 am

Things don't always go according to plan.

Bowee, February 7th, 2012, 8:09 pm

The Plan?!
Huh. I didn't realize until he said it, but I suppose trying to burn a dragon isn't too far from knocking one's head against a wall is it? That is to say, pointless. I guess maybe I assumed he'd be more vulnerable in a human form? Ah, well, Joan and Teddy are a little more susceptible to fiery deaths, so I guess the idea escaped due to disproportionate danger? Rabble rabble rabble. In any case, CHAOS! Yay for discord.

Stardreamer, February 11th, 2012, 2:24 pm

The problem with chaos is that it is so ... well .... chaotic. This is my kind of plan one that can go completely off the rails because you have no idea what going to happen, even if all goes the right way. hehehe

Skittsue, February 11th, 2012, 4:12 pm

See? He does have a plan. He's not going to burn.....but won't his plan fail if Joan's burned first? Does he have to touch the fire? -suspense-
