the problem with letting someone sleep on your arm is that you're kinda stuck there.
Telepathy sometimes shows up in vampire stories. I kinda like it and it lets the guys talk without disturbing Joan.
Drake's last speech bubble has the image from the panel when he found his brother dead. Since it is telepathy I wanted to add in a bit more than words and that particular incident is one of the demons he doesn't want Teddy stirring up.
re Naya: well, he was a guardian. That comes with come protectiveness.
re dragonmaiden50: based on the comments it seems to have been screaming it rather loudly.
re XxWhiterosesxX: I was kinda surprised that so many people like those two as a couple. I'm just glad the scene worked since its very different from what I've done before.
re Skittsue: yeah, I kinda need to get them out of the city. At this rate they are never going to find a cure for Drake's seal (or get Teddy to a therapist)
re Wanati: thanks ^_^
re Jae87: glad it works (I was kinda wondering if it would when I was drawing the page)
re pfmoi: thanks ^_^
re browndogg1616: but as a dragon he might not consider those faults exactly.
re Kadtie: well, they are the main male and female protagonists. There is a bit of a precedent.
re yuri21: (thanks for catching those pages, I don't know why they went down but I re-uploaded them). The Order was a bit cheap and used salt as the main magical barrier. It blocks almost all creatures, particularly monstrous or dangerous ones , but it traditionally just acts as a barrier and doesn't weaken powers.
re flying-angel: well, the posts do make me happy so I want to encourage them.
re sharkdude: A dragon is always happy when its destroying things.
re StellaFrost: a bit. He's way outside of his comfort zone. No self-respecting dragon would act this way.
re Azhtann: Teddy doesn't seem to think he does.
re Onasaki: yup, Teddy does too and hes a bit worried because those don't seem to end well for him.
re Imola: I have a very low tolerance for romance in stories because it make everything contrived or over dramatic. I'm not planning on making it a huge part of my story. It may be in there, but its never going to be a driving force.
Wow the last page got a lot of comments.
Also, I went back to look at a few of the older pages and I couldn't help but notice how much your art has improved. Your art is a lot cleaner and well defined now. It was good before, but now it's fantastic. You're really good at getting all of your character's different postures and positions without it looking awkward.
Anyway, sorry for the long winded comment.
Thanks for the explanation! So does salt affect Joan?
I agree with your comment that it's about time they get out of the city and quickly. Btw, it's thanks to the internet I get to read your comic, from across another continent since I've found few webcomics to be quite entertaining. =P Oh, was simply re-reading your comic so I found the pages. xD It's a shame I didn't have any Chinese New Year cookies when I was reading them!
As for the shipping thing: there's this chinese saying. "Da shi teng, ma shi ai" = "To beat someone is to like him, to scold someone is to love him." That's the rough translation. =) Given the constant friction between the 2 and this scene? Hahahahaha... :P
