updates are still limping along. I am trying to speed them back up, but my new job teaching in a high needs school in New Orleans is pretty draining.
anyways, remember the carving on the lady's door that Drake went with it had a Jesus fish in it. The symbol originated when Christianity was persecuted during the Roman Empire and was used to signal other Christians. Christianity is again in the general public's bad graces so the Christians who do remain are again in hiding and using the old signals to find each other.
And yeah, Drake's still angry about the comment about his family.
re neonmalice: nope, and no sympathy either.
re StellaFrost: Drake had to find a special cross that would actually work against vampires instead of being just a fancy accessory.
re axielouise: hmmm, perhaps cared, past tense. Now he's angry again
re Kadtie: yup, she's feeling extra guilty now
re Skittsue: we shall have to see.
re Azhtann: he probably just felt too ill to muster the effort.
re XxWhiterosesxX: and now thoroughly regrets it.
re browndogg1616: unfortunately, given how things played out he's unlikely to do anything nice again soon.
re Jae87: Well, Drake's not exactly the type to carefully place him on the bed or anything.
re silverdragon1: the Shadows War was kinda a big stumbling point for Christianity. It played out very similarly to Revelations, but when the good bits failed to happen too, well...
Imola: yup, Drake's a champion grudge holder
re tRickityHouses: well here's a little snippit of the religious landscape for you
re Skarlog: yeah, but the bruises should be healed up by morning.
re pfmoi: yeah, Drake isn't going to do something nice for anyone anytime soon
re mogget: heh, I've been noticing that Drake is looking younger too. I think I've been making his face too squat. I'll have to keep an eye on that. He's supposed to look 20-ish
Also, I don't know if this was intentional or not, but I like how the shadow between Drake's shoulderblades looks like a stylized dragon head, and his spine looks like it's body. I kinda thought it was neat!
