Stool!
The key thing in this strip is the missing stool. Why and where the the missing stool is should be obvious. If you don't figure it out by the end of the chapter, you fail life. It's that easy; really.

I thought that there'd be a languge shift over the years, so I made up a language on the spot. It'd be some sort of blend, and since the only three languages I know are English, French, and japanese, I used those. First I took the english work, changed the first consanant/vowel pair into a altered hiragana (one version of the Japanese alphabet) and eliminated the rest of the vowel, tada! instant language!
