This is remeniscant of one of the tales from revalations.

I have tried adding in hints of other myths into this one, although the bones of the myth is my creation. Revalations did have a prety heft influence on the shadows war although I drew most of the parallels after I laid out the story. I'll go into more detail about the Shadows War later in the comic
