Sorry about the late update. I sadly didn't get into any of the PhD programs that I applied to, which put me into a funk and job hunt frenzy.

Anyway, more friendly/ominous Archeron.

replies:

:
re StellaFrost: in reality, Mina runs a tight enough ship that its unlikely that anyone will misbehave, but Joan doesn't know that and is all kinds of worried.

re man in black: its even the Hogwarts school motto

re Eva Emaria: the face tattoos are a relic of his wild teenage years. They don't really fit his more mature personality, which is kinda why I like them. Archie is mostly worried about the humans visiting since a major goal of the festival is foster good relationships with the humans living on their lands.

re Arrikanez: and preferably uncharred

re pfmoi: I'm glad the interaction ended on a more palatable note.

re Onasaki: its certainly been helping me get a feel for the characters.

re Mina_Lunga: and now they're talking about food too. Poor Joan.

re Kadtie: ah, the challenges of being an educator.

D'aww, Archeron is such a sweety. Kinda gives me an image of a tiger acting all cute and domestic. I think its the stripes ^.^
And that hair...I just want to pet it, It looks so soft, dispite it sticking up.

Hiding in the room sounds good though

Archie does seem to be a big teddy bear, with fangs.

As for Joan's safety, I was referring more to the other Solifidian guests. Many of them might not view Medians too kindly.

Is it me, or do Archie's eyes seem so fucking creepy in the second panel? >.>

Arrikanez, 20 Mar 2015 11:27 pm

He really is a sweetie. ^^
Too bad he's a dark-boy, otherwise Aylis would be all over that.

I wonder.... does Archie dance? Like, you know, on the dancefloor dance. Or maybe even ballroom dance? Does Mina teach such things?

I'm glad you've been able to fight the funk. I had to apply to PhD programs in two rounds, too, and I'm glad that I didn't get in the first time as I later learned that the department was falling about and full of nasty warfare. If you want to still do a PhD, you CAN! The major ingredient is stubbornness! If you want, you can ask me anything about grad school or applications that you want. I graduated this fall and was hired this week as a professor, so I've been through that particular wringer, at least in the sciences :-)

And I'm glad Archie is good at recognizing and playing with his ominous appearance and phrasing.

@StellaFrost You mean like valkyries who are also swan maidens who have no reason to like medians and every reason to be really wary of them? :P

A former vampire cook. I am slightly worried about that, since usually you have to taste food as you go to make sure you don't like fry someone's mouth with pepper.

(Also, sick Eva was very, very sick and now medieval fair this weekend. Hopefully Eira will return once that's over!)
